Regulators will ask for your AI paper trail, not your principles
Reuters reports a Wall Street regulator will focus on AI in its corporate exams. The headline is thin, but the direction is clear enough. Exams don't grade your AI principles. They ask you to show your work. When I ran privacy programs, the hard part was never writing the policy. It was producing a clean record of what was decided and who signed off on it. AI governance is the same problem with more moving parts. If an examiner asked tomorrow for your model inventory and the approval trail behind each production use case, how long before you could hand it over?
